VSU Theatre and Dance Students Take New York

pro conn alum gathering

A group of students in VSU’s Theatre and Dance program are taking on the Big Apple over Fall Break as part of our Pro-Conn (short for Professional Connections) program! In this program, students are given the opportunity for intensive workshop and networking opportunities with industry professionals and area alumni, as well as experiencing a metropolitan environment.

The students met alumni, have seen shows, and are spending two days in workshops.

Pro-Conn is a VSU program that often involves bringing theatre and dance professionals to campus to give workshops and masterclasses, advice, and to answer questions about the reality of the theatre and dance industries as well as providing Theatre & Dance Students with opportunities to audition, learn from and network with these professionals. Additionally, bi-ennial trips are planned to major markets for intensive workshop and networking opportunities with industry professionals and Area alumni as well as experiencing a metropolitan environment.
