Valdosta State University’s College of the Arts would like to congratulate Ms. Scarlett Ashe. She is the first receipent of the Larry Etling Scholarship. The scholarship was established in 2016 in honor of Dr. Larry Etling.  Dr. Etling served as a faculty member of the Mass Media program from 1999-2015.  The purpose of the Dr. Larry Etling Scholarship is to support high quality students as they pursue their careers in Mass Media and to encourage students to act as advocates for their discipline.
