VSU IT Solutions Center is looking for it’s next Student Assistant!

General Summary of Responsibilities The university’s first-tier support center is the initial point of contact for assistance related to admissions, financial aid, or technical support. Student assistants in this area are responsible for providing answers and solutions via phone, email, and social media. Additional responsibilities include the development and maintenance of training content, assistance with internal and external communications, support for both university and division initiatives, and other duties as required. Shifts available range from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM and may include weekends.
Required Qualifications Must be a current VSU Student be registered for 6 credit semester hours and have a cumulative of

• Strong initiative, positive, and enthusiasm
• Willingness to take ownership of customer needs
• Strong work ethics
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications • Proven record of excellent customer service skills
• Strong familiarity with Valdosta State University (VSU) process and technologies
• Experience conducting training or presentations
• Familiarity with call center best practices
