The Office of Information Security responded to another phishing attempt earlier today from a sender disguised as the IT Helpdesk (please see screenshot below). The sender and site have been blocked at the firewall for on-campus users only. We ask that users remain vigilant of suspicious messages as a heightened level of phishing attempts/attacks have been noticed over the past few weeks. If you see any messages that contain suspicious links or requests for sensitive information, please forward them to email@example.com . If you have opened a link provided in one of these messages, we ask that you change your password immediately as a precautionary measure via the Password Reset Tool (https://apex.valdosta.edu/apex/f?p=213).
