Jazz Performances on DVD

by Maureen Puffer-Rothenberg on February 16, 2009 in Odum Library

We’re adding more jazz DVDs, like Keith Jarrett Trio Concert, Chick Corea Akoustic Band, and Ella Fitzgerald Live at Montreux.

Most music-themed DVDs are shelved in the Fine Arts Materials Collection (FAMC). That’s at the 2nd-floor Circulation desk. If FAMC is part of the call number, ask for it at Circulation to check out the item.

If you do an Advanced Search for “jazz” AND “dvd” in the online catalog, you’ll find more than 80 DVDs– jazz performances, a few instructional DVDs and the usual OPAC anomalies (like that interview with Amiri Baraka).

Please ask if you need help finding anything!
