April 24th is the 12th Annual National Day of Puppetry.

This summer the Port City Puppet Festival, July 15th-18th in Wilmington, NC, will offer a Professional Day for the Teaching Artist & Therapist with presentations by puppeteers, educators and therapists.
Or, this summer you could visit Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts. The Center has many historic puppets on exhibit, and presents unforgettable performances.
