Reading has always been a passion of mine. To dive into a story so immersive that you as the reader can forget about the entire world around you is my favorite thing. In my art I convey emotion and history—fictional or historical—that connects to tell a story. I use fictional worlds and characters to connect others to fantastical imagery that still relates to everyday feelings and emotions.

Drawing and painting, especially with ink and watercolors, allow me to effectively portray my characters and stories. The level of detail I am able to achieve in my work, while still having a sense of fluidity, gives my work connectivity to the fantasies I imagine.

Themes of spirituality, overcoming hardship, and finding strength to move forward in life are prioritized in my works. My art is an emotional language that allows me to communicate through and discuss illness and specific personality traits.
