VSU student Conner Dowling is exploring Germany and Austria this summer for a study abroad program.
Here’s what he had to say about his experience so far!

We arrived in Munich on May 10 and traveled to Austria where we stayed for four days, and then traveled back to Munich. While we are abroad, we will also be traveling to Nuremberg, Berlin, and Frankfurt!
I am currently studying international business and international economics. While we’ve been studying abroad, our professor Dr. Tori has done an amazing job at setting up some really great business tours! We have already been able to visit high-end international businesses such as Intel and BMW. And the best part? We still have several other exciting trips planned out.
Touring these businesses has been amazing, but I’d have to say that my favorite part of this whole experience has been visiting various cities along the way and learning about the unique history of each city. I did not know much about the places we have toured, so it has been really cool to learn how each came to be.
If you’re thinking about studying abroad before you graduate – do it! I would push for every student to have this kind of experience before they graduate from college.
