Valdosta State University\u2019s Blazin\u2019 Brigade will present Blazerfest at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium. Admission is free of charge and open to the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blazerfest will feature performances by the Blazin\u2019 Brigade, as well as VSU\u2019s Trumpet Studio, Horn Studio, Tuba\/Euphonium Studio, Trombone Studio, and Steel Band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The student-musicians will entertain guests of all ages with a variety of Disney favorites, including \u201cThis is Halloween\u201d and \u201cOogie Boogie\u2019s Song\u201d from \u201cThe Nightmare Before Christmas,\u201d as well as a number of radio favorites, including Michael Jackson\u2019s \u201cThriller\u201d and Stevie Wonder\u2019s \u201cSuperstition.\u201d The set list will also feature stand tunes \u2014 Fight Song, Blazer Bound, Land of 1,000 Dances, and more \u2014 from Blazer Nation football games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blazerfest will also feature a costume contest, trick-or-treating, door prizes, and food trucks from Big Nick\u2019s and Kona Ice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
While admission is free of charge, the Blazin\u2019 Brigade will accept donations to support its time-honored tradition of performance excellence during Blazer football games, community events, and competitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the health and safety of everyone attending Blazerfest, social distancing will be enforced and masks covering the nose and mouth will be required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
