The VSU Tuba Euphonium Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Danny Rowland, \u00a0has been invited to perform at the 2016 International Tuba Euphonium Conference. The conference will take place on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville on May 30-June 4, 2016. This marks the fourth year in a row that the ensemble has been invited to perform at a major regional or international tuba conference. The ensemble is excited to make the trip to Tennessee not only to perform, but to experience a wide array of masterclasses, performances, competitions, and lessons.<\/p>\n

Officially founded in 1973 as the Tubists Universal Brotherhood Association, the International Tuba Euphonium Association<\/a> is dedicated to promoting and advancing the tuba and euphonium instruments. The organization comprises performers, educators, students, and amateurs of all backgrounds.
