The Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery presents the BFA and BA graduates in Fine Arts for the Spring 2017 term.\u00a0 We invite you to join us in a celebration of their accomplishments on Saturday, April 15, from 1 to 3 PM.<\/p>\n

The graduating class of spring 2017 will be exhibiting a variety of artwork including drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture and jewelry metalworking. The event is free to the public.\u00a0 Musical entertainment provided by the VSU Student Jazz Combo.<\/p>\n

Creating art can be an emotional and psychological drain.\u00a0 It can be difficult to express an idea or meaning without any words. Others may think art is easy and merely a method of escapism from the hardships of society\u2014it is not.\u00a0 Art is Hard<\/span><\/i> is meant to challenge the public perception of art as a leisure.\u00a0 On April 15<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup>, we welcome you to celebrate and consider the works of the art presented by these ten graduates.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The exhibit will be displayed from Saturday, April 15th<\/span><\/sup><\/span> through May 1<\/span>st<\/span><\/sup>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
