Nursing Students Volunteer for Hospital Decontamination Training

On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, several students from the nursing program volunteered at the Hospital Decontamination Training sessions in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Public Health in an effort to increase knowledge, awareness and skill in decontamination procedures for hospitals. Ms. Lauren Bewley, Healthcare Liaison for the South Health District for the Georgia Department of Public Health congratulated the help efforts of those who participated in the training, citing “I truly appreciate the community partner relationships that we share between our agencies. Thanks again so much. The training was a success on Wednesday because of YOU, our volunteers.”
