Odradek is Valdosta State University’s student literary journal. The name Odradek originates from Franz Kafka’s short story, “The Cares of a Family Man.” Odradek is run by undergraduate students from a variety of majors. Issues of Odradek are published yearly and accept submissions from VSU students of any degree or specification. Odradek publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, art, music, translations, book reviews, and anything you can imagine.
We wish for every student, staff member, editor, and publisher to understand that we do not discriminate based on:
