Grounded
A little wild<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Untamed
Natural
I am beguiled<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The magic is strong here
The forest nymphs are near<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Glimpses of fairies
The soft wind carries<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Woody
Growing
So very alive<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Somehow
Here
Magic can survive<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Darkness and light
Mingle together<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Black and white
And both on a feather<\/p>\n\n\n\n


It flutters down
Into my hand<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I catch sight
Of silver sand<\/p>\n\n\n\n


And sapphire waves
Encrusted with gold<\/p>\n\n\n\n


This magic is too
Priceless to be sold<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Tiny Wilderness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surrounded by cement
And roaring cars
The air is filled with
Shouts from tiny people-wars<\/p>\n\n\n\n


But it fades as I sit
And bask in the quiet
The trees around
Shielding me from it<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I sit awhile,
And quietly read
And the birds come out
To peck at the seed<\/p>\n\n\n\n


They\u2019ve forgotten I\u2019m here
Or so it seems
Unless they\u2019ve decided
We\u2019re on the same teams<\/p>\n\n\n\n


They peck at pinecones
Looking for food
They\u2019re always in
A flighty mood<\/p>\n\n\n\n


They call to each other
From the trees
And the waving branches
Seem to tease<\/p>\n\n\n\n


This oasis is a tiny wild
In this world of conformity
I never know what I\u2019ll find next
And it never ceases to amaze me<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The grass, the trees
The birds and sun
They\u2019ll all remain
When the day is done<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The cars will be gone
But the wild will stay
I\u2019m glad there\u2019s a little wild Left today<\/p>\n\n\n\n
