Student Technician Presents at Research Symposium

Jonathan McCraney (TSS Student Technician) presented research based on the purpose of self-driving cars last Thursday, April 16 at the Undergraduate Research Symposium. Jonathan’s computer science (CS) group members James Ishmael and Chris Rich also participated in the event. The group quoted within their project:
  • “Self-driving cars are inevitable for mankind.”
  • “They are the next step in reducing traffic congestion and improving traffic safety for drivers as a whole.”
Sterlin Sanders, TSS AD, attended this event and was pleased to see one of our student technicians participating. Sterlin would like to encourage all IT Student Technicians to take part in academic extracurricular activities such as symposiums, writing contests, and other conferences. Academic programs add towards professional development and aid in strengthening the quality of your resume. Congratulations Jonathan!
