The Women in Technology Summit is an annual USG-supported event that is open to all genders as it explores and spotlights efforts to bridge the diversity gap in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers, while providing an opportunity for growth, encouragement and empowerment for all those in STEM-related careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s theme is\u00a0“We’re in IT Together”<\/strong>\u00a0with several breakout sessions covering topics such as leading in challenging times, how COVID-19 affects WIT, diversity and inclusion among WIT, and assistant\/chief\u00a0information officer (CIOs and ACIOs) panel discussion on leadership among WIT.\u00a0Keynote speakers<\/a>\u00a0are Claire Evans, author of\u00a0Broad Band: The Untold Story of the Women Who Made the Internet,<\/em>\u00a0and Amanda King, vice president and general manager of Honeywell Connected Secure Solutions.\u00a0
