On the home page for the Supreme Court, you can view a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/\">list of links to recent decisions from the Supreme Court<\/a>, including<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/14pdf\/14-7955_aplc.pdf\">Glossip v. Gross<\/a>, \u00a0about the constitutionality of a method of execution,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/14pdf\/14-46_bqmc.pdf\">Michigan v. EPA<\/a>,\u00a0about the Environment Protection Agency&#8217;s authority to regulate power plants,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/14pdf\/14-556_3204.pdf\">Obergefell v. Hodges<\/a>, requiring state recognition of marriage between two people of the same sex,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/14pdf\/13-7120_p86b.pdf\">Johnson v. United States<\/a>, on the definition of violent felonies\u00a0in cases of enhanced sentencing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dissenting and concurring opinions are also available as part of the published decisions. If you&#8217;re interested in reading or hearing arguments before the Court, the home page also provides <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/\">links to transcripts and audio of recent arguments<\/a>. Earlier arguments are also available through the lists of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/oral_arguments\/argument_transcript.aspx\">transcripts back to 2000<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/oral_arguments\/argument_audio.aspx\">audio back to 2010<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more about the justices of the Supreme Court by reading the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/about\/biographies.aspx\">current justices&#8217; biographies<\/a>\u00a0and viewing a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/about\/members.aspx\">timeline of justices&#8217; time on the Court<\/a>, both past and present.\u00a0\u00a0The official print versions of Supreme Court decisions, the <a href=\"http:\/\/gilfind.valdosta.edu\/vufind\/Record\/234868\">United States Reports<\/a>, are available through 2008 in Odum Library&#8217;s legal reference area. Later decisions are also available in paperback, but the printed versions are only considered final once\u00a0they are issued in\u00a0bound volumes.<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court and other federal government web sites and publications exist to help people stay informed and provide an open window onto government activities.
