It\u00a0starts at 1:11 p.m. EDT, reaches 89.46% coverage at 2:43 p.m., and ends at 4:08 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>How might cloudiness interfere with your eclipse experience? The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncei.noaa.gov\/\">National Centers for Environmental Education<\/a> offer this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncei.noaa.gov\/news\/ready-set-eclipse\">cloudiness map<\/a>\u00a0to help forecast your view.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/weather.gov\">Weather.gov<\/a> also offers information about what is called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weather.gov\/gsp\/eclipse\">the Great Eclipse of 2017<\/a>, including\u00a0glimpses backward and forward. For instance,\u00a0the last time a total eclipse was seen in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia was March 7, 1970.
