Just visit the Reference Desk between 12:00pm and 5:00pm for your chance\u00a0to sign the Constitution and get\u00a0a free pocket Constitution, candy, and a special Founding Father surprise!<\/p>\n<p>You can also view the exhibit\u00a0of books and documents relating to the Constitution in the library Reference area on the second floor, on display through September. If you can\u2019t make our event,\u00a0be sure to view this online\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/exhibits\/charters\/constitution.html\">Constitution<\/a>\u00a0available from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/\">National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.loc.gov\/law\/\">Law Library of Congress<\/a>\u00a0provides\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.loc.gov\/law\/help\/commemorative-observations\/constitution-day.php\">history and legislative materials<\/a>\u00a0for Constitution and Citizenship Day,\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/education\/lessons\/constitution-day\/\">National Archives and Records Administration<\/a>\u00a0offers Constitution Day resources especially for teachers, as does the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.ed.gov\/policy\/fund\/guid\/constitutionday.html\">U.S. Department of Education<\/a>. \u00a0NARA even provides instructions for a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.archives.gov\/education\/lessons\/constitution-day\/game.html\">game to help teach students about the Constitution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more about the Constitution and its signing on September 17th, 1787, with these\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/founding-docs\/constitution\">fun facts about the Constitution and Constitutional Convention<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, September 18, to mark Constitution Day, Odum Library hosts a special opportunity: you can sign a copy of the U.S. Constitution!
