If you missed the SXSW World Premiere<\/strong> of The Most Hated Woman In America<\/em><\/strong>, which took place at the historic Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, March 14, you can now watch the film on Netflix.<\/p>\n

The Most Hated Woman In America<\/em><\/strong> is a true-crime biopic about the disappearance of Madalyn Murray O’Hair, founder of the “American Atheists” and pioneering firebrand in the political culture war. The film captures the rise and fall of a complex character who was a controversial villain to some and an unlikely hero to others. Cast: Melissa Leo, Adam Scott, Juno Temple, Vincent Kartheiser, Josh Lucas, Peter Fonda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Director Tommy O\u2019Haver<\/strong> grew up in Indiana where he spent his early years making Super-8 films. After his first short \u201cCatalina\u201d played at the New York Film Festival, he went on to write and direct his first feature, Billy\u2019s Hollywood Screen Kiss<\/em>, which premiered and sold at Sundance. He went on to make 2 films for Miramax: Get Over It<\/em> and Ella Enchanted<\/em>.<\/p>\n
