Thanks to a new mod, the post-apocalyptic RPG can now double as something akin to a horror film in the vein of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/the-witch\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-witch\">The Witch<\/a>.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/2017\/02\/robert-eggers-independent-spirit-best-first-screenplay-award-witch-1201787020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">READ MORE: Robert Eggers Wins Independent Spirit Best First Screenplay Award For \u2018The Witch\u2019<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That&#8217;s fitting, as the long-standing series owes much of its aesthetic to another movie: &#8220;Mad Max.&#8221; Among the features in the \u201cPilgrim \u2014 Dread the Commonwealth&#8221; mod are a greyer color palette, film grain and new soundtrack, but perhaps most exciting of all is an upcoming addition that will swap out the faithful canine sidekick Dogmeat with none other than Black Phillip himself.
