Nevertheless, director <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/alex-kurtzman\/\" id=\"auto-tag_alex-kurtzman\">Alex Kurtzman<\/a> remains optimistic about the future of the Dark Universe\u00a0in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/heat-vision\/mummy-director-dark-universe-plans-surreal-moment-set-1011752\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">a new interview with THR<\/a>, arguing\u00a0that &#8220;variety is going to be our good friend when it comes to the evolution&#8221; of that shared cinematic universe.
