\u201cThere\u2019s no way to describe it and that just says, it\u2019s a unique, special movie. You haven\u2019t seen something like this before,\u201d said cast member Eiza Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Baby Driver<\/em> takes audiences on a dramatically charged ride fueled by car chases, young love, and a high octane soundtrack spanning era and genre. The film has a standout ensemble cast including: Ansel Elgort<\/strong>, Kevin Spacey<\/strong>, Lily James<\/strong>, Jon Bernthal<\/strong>, Eiza Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, Jon Hamm<\/strong>, and Jamie Foxx<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Edgar Wright<\/strong> is best known for co-writing and directing Shaun of the Dead<\/em>, Hot Fuzz<\/em>, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World<\/em>, and The World\u2019s End<\/em>. Wright was previously at SXSW for Attack the Block<\/em> (2011), where he served as a producer.<\/p>\n Baby Driver<\/em> took our SXSW patrons by storm, see why this film won our Audience Award – Headliner<\/strong> by watching it in theaters starting today! Read our interview with Wright below, as he discusses why he made this thrilling joyride of a movie.<\/p>\n Q:<\/strong> Tell us a little about your film?<\/strong><\/p>\n EW:<\/strong> It’s a car movie that is driven by music.<\/p>\n Q:<\/strong> What motivated you to tell this story?<\/p>\n EW:<\/strong> Twenty four years ago, I became obsessed with the rock song \u201cBellbottoms\u201d by Jon Spencer<\/strong>. I dreamt up the opening scene of what was to become Baby Driver<\/em> while listening to the song obsessively.
