The Innovation Awards categories range from achievements in artificial intelligence and digital design, to health technology and new economy, and beyond. <strong>Learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sxsw.com\/apply-to-participate\/interactive-innovation-awards\/#categories\">categories<\/a> offered for the 2018 Awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Calling All Innovators:<\/h3>\n<p>Creators of projects related to one (or more) of the 13 Award categories, and which launched between January 1 &#8211; December 31, 2017 can enter their exciting new work in the competition. The Interactive Innovation Awards are open to anyone with a project, product, creative endeavor, scientific discovery, or student project launching or being released this year and who would like the opportunity to attend SXSW as one of 5 finalists in each of the 13 award categories (65 finalists total).<\/p>\n<p><em>Discounts for Students, researchers and academics for the Student and SciFi No Longer categories are available upon request.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>How to Apply:<\/h3>\n<p>Tell us the coolest stuff about your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sxsw.com\/apply-to-participate\/interactive-innovation-awards\/#entry\">entry<\/a> and don\u2019t be modest! The best entry forms give the Awards Jurists a thorough sense of your project, product or service (including some level of interaction with the project being entered, or video examples of it being used).
