I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know if people are going to feel that like I feel that.\u201d Storm Reid plays Meg Murry, the heroine in question, and is joined by\u00a0Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Zach Galifianakis, Chris Pine, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Pe\u00f1a, and Andr\u00e9 Holland.<\/p>\n<p>Part of DuVernay&#8217;s uncertainty arises from how different &#8220;A Wrinkle in Time&#8221; will be from most movies of its kind for the simple fact that its hero is a world-saving girl of color.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s not shied away from. It is front and center,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is hopping planets and flying and saving the freakin\u2019 world. She\u2019s saving the world. Saving the world from darkness, and in the film darkness is defined as the darkness within us. She\u2019s saving us from ourselves. If they don\u2019t, I\u2019m onto the next.&#8217;&#8221; said DuVernay. \u201cWith &#8216;Selma,&#8217; I was like, &#8216;You know what, I\u2019m nervous\u2026but I know that I believe in this.
