Many of the accusations center around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/peter-aalbaek-jensen\/\" id=\"auto-tag_peter-aalbaek-jensen\">Peter Aalb\u00e6k Jensen<\/a>, the company&#8217;s other founder, who is &#8220;highlighted by several sources one of the main figures perpetuating the system of degradation.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<aside class=\"pmc-related-link read-more\">\n\t\t\t<strong class=\"pmc-related-type\">Read More:<\/strong><a target=\"_self\" href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/2017\/10\/bjork-sexual-harassment-lars-von-trier-denial-1201888174\/\" title=\"Bj\u00f6rk Stands By Sexual Harassment Claims After Lars von Trier Denial, Reveals More \u2018Paralyzing\u2019 Abuse\">Bj\u00f6rk Stands By Sexual Harassment Claims After Lars von Trier Denial, Reveals More \u2018Paralyzing\u2019 Abuse<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These women offered their accounts to <a href=\"http:\/\/politiken.dk\/kultur\/art6202316\/Former-Zentropa-employees-expose-system-of-degradation-and-sexual-harassment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Politiken<\/a>, one of the oldest and most widely read newspapers in Denmark. One of them, Meta Louise Foldager S\u00f8rensen, worked on such films as &#8220;Antichrist&#8221; and &#8220;Melancholia&#8221; and claims that &#8220;I think that everyone who has been employed by Zentropa has been exposed to or witnessed certain things. Both sexually charged acts and bullying or \u2018teasing\u2019. All of this was an ingrained part of the culture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Former employees claim that Jensen &#8220;would grope their breasts time and again. Get close and start moaning while they were on the phone&#8221; and &#8220;even arranged several sexually degrading acts on stage at the company Christmas party in front of guests from the film industry.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Von Trier and and Jensen formed Zentropa in 1992, eventually growing it into Scandinavia&#8217;s largest film-production company.
