As per tradition, the group is making announcements in real-time via Twitter, and IndieWire will be updating this post live in order to keep up with the results. Last year&#8217;s big winner was &#8220;Moonlight,&#8221; which was awarded Best Picture and Best Director for Barry Jenkins. Top acting categories went to Adam Driver for Best Actor in &#8220;Paterson,&#8221; and\u00a0Isabelle Huppert for Best Actress in both \u201cElle\u201d and \u201cThings to Come.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"pmc-related-link read-more\">\n\t\t\t<strong class=\"pmc-related-type\">Read More:<\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/2016\/12\/la-film-critics-association-2016-awards-announced-1201752350\/\" title=\"LA Film Critics Association Names \u2018Moonlight\u2019 Best Film of 2016\">LA Film Critics Association Names \u2018Moonlight\u2019 Best Film of 2016<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p>Earlier this week, the\u00a0New York Film Critics Circle voted on and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/2017\/11\/new-york-film-critics-circle-2017-awards-winners-1201902314\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced their awards<\/a>, giving top honors to &#8220;Lady Bird&#8221; for Best Picture and star\u00a0Saoirse Ronan as Best Actress.
