Although he recently vocalized some strong opinions about why the second chapter, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/blade-runner-2049\/\" id=\"auto-tag_blade-runner-2049\">Blade Runner 2049<\/a>,&#8221; underperformed at the box office (&#8220;It\u2019s slow. It\u2019s slow. Long. Too long. I would have taken out half an hour,\u201d Scott told <a href=\"https:\/\/english.alarabiya.net\/en\/life-style\/entertainment\/2017\/12\/26\/Ridley-Scott-reveals-why-he-thinks-Blade-Runner-2049-flopped-at-the-box-office.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Al Arabiya<\/a>), he seems to be eager to return to the series.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about continuing the saga, Scott told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalspy.com\/movies\/blade-runner\/news\/a846834\/ridley-scott-has-plans-another-blade-runner-sequel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Digital Spy<\/a>, &#8220;I hope so. I think there is another story. Too Long\u2019<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p>Scott <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vulture.com\/2017\/12\/ridley-scott-all-the-money-in-the-world-reshoots.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">recently spoke with Vulture<\/a> about how he helped to shape the script for &#8220;Blade Runner 2049.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Most of that script\u2019s mine,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I sit with writers for an inordinate amount of time and I will not take credit, because it means I\u2019ve got to sit there with a tape recorder while we talk. I can\u2019t do that to a good writer.
