For more information about <a href=\"\/film\">SXSW Film Festival<\/a> deadlines and fees, take a look at our <a href=\"\/apply-to-participate\/film-submissions\/\">Film Submissions<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<h3>Work-In-Progress Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The <a href=\"\/film\">SXSW Film Festival<\/a> views work-in-progress cuts that are <strong>picture locked and include an opening slate listing what still needs to be completed<\/strong> (color-correction, sound mix, special effects, etc).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>HOWEVER<\/strong> keep in mind SXSW Film will only watch <strong>ONE CUT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Please make sure your project meets our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sxsw.com\/film\/2018\/2019-sxsw-film-festival-premiere-status-and-eligibility\/\">premiere status and eligibility<\/a> requirements before you submit!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If your project is selected to play at SXSW 2019, you will be required to deliver a DCP (in addition, you can deliver us a 35mm print!) of the <strong>FINAL CUT<\/strong> for exhibition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>SXSW will not exhibit a work-in-progress during the festival except under <strong>very rare and special circumstances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>For more specific questions about submitting, look no further than our <a href=\"https:\/\/support.sxsw.com\/hc\/en-us\/sections\/201312865-Film-Submissions\">Film Submissions FAQ<\/a>.
