It’s hard to believe SXSW 2017 is only two weeks away. There may not be much time left, but we still have so many new showcases and sessions to tell you about!<\/p>\n

For our music-based Conference programming<\/a>, learn about how music publications adapt to today’s world of media in The Future of Music Mags: Print to Digital & Beyond<\/strong>. Meet with Bruce Solar, Dawn Holliday, and Steve Ferguson in Agents \/ Talent Buyers Peer Meeting<\/strong>! Jesse Young and Peter Lewis will be discussing Sorrows & Promises: Greenwich Village in the 1960s<\/strong>, and the secret to a successful electronic music fest will be revealed in Electronic Music in the Festival World<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

First up, this week we’re featuring showcases of specially curated lineups for your ultimate SXSW experience. ADE<\/strong>, in partnership with Dekmantel<\/strong> and Red Light Radio<\/strong>, is presenting the best of Dutch electronic, ATO Records<\/strong> is bringing their label’s greatest, or you can hear the sounds of our hometown in the City of Austin<\/strong>‘s showcase! Other newly added showcases include 4AD<\/strong> (headlined by Future Islands<\/strong>), Crush Music<\/strong> (headlined by Weezer<\/strong>), and more.<\/p>\n

We’re so pumped to also announce the addition of artists<\/a> like Bleached<\/strong>, Valerie June<\/strong>, Real Estate<\/strong>, Cosmonauts<\/strong>, Thievery Corporation<\/strong>, Rapsody<\/strong>, Robert Glasper<\/strong>, Wu-Tang Clan<\/strong>, Le Butcherettes<\/strong>, and many more. While you’re at it, don’t forget The Avett Brothers<\/strong> will be performing at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on Wednesday, March 15. You’re getting all of this, right?<\/p>\n

Though I hate to think about the end of the festival, at least there’s the SXSW Music Festival Closing Party<\/strong> to look forward to. Jonathan Toubin<\/strong> will be there to present his Soul Clap and Dance-Off, in which a $100 cash prize will be awarded to the best dancer, and the event is free for all to attend!<\/p>\n
