Reade (Mary &#8220;Mamie&#8221; Wheeler Robertson) at <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.valdosta.edu\/mmblack\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/133\/2020\/10\/themeadows.jpg\">The Meadows<\/a>, her family home in Abingdon, Virginia. The camp closed after the 1951 summer.
