U.S. DOE Office of International & Foreign Language (IFLE) Workshops Announced

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) is offering a two-day virtual Title VI Technical Assistance Workshop September 19 and 20, 2017. The event will provide insight into key IFLE programs and help potential applicants prepare for possible competitions in FY 18. A description of the event was sent by IFLE earlier today:

“The event will feature presentations from grantee institutions and organizations in the international education community about promising practices, challenges overcome, and lessons learned from the international education projects that have been carried out over the past four years under the Title VI and Fulbright-Hays programs administered by the Department.

Technical assistance sessions lead by the IFLE team will guide you through the processes and selection criteria for developing applications under the following programs in preparation for possible competitions in Fiscal Year (FY) 2018:

The workshop is open to institutions of higher education, including grantees under IFLE’s Title VI international education programs, prospective applicants, organizations in the international education field, and the general public.
