While the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has been largely quiet over the past few months in terms of new grant opportunities, the agency’s Office of Innovation and Improvement (OII) is beginning to show signs of life in 2018. OII has added a number of anticipated opportunities to the agency’s funding forecast site. Over the next few months, OII expects to roll out competitions for Promise Neighborhoods Implementation Grants, Teacher Quality Partnership, Charter Schools Program, Arts in Education (Model Development & Dissemination and the National Program), Education and Innovation Research Program, and Supporting Effective Educator Development.
