The mission of the Healthcare Georgia Foundation is to advance the health of all Georgians and expand access to affordable, quality healthcare for underserved individuals and communities in the state. Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to building effective nonprofit health organizations that have the capacity to develop, deliver, and sustain high-health programs and services.
Through the foundation’s Direct Services Grant Program, twelve-month grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded to support existing healthcare services and health promotion programs in alignment with its focus on addressing health disparities among Georgians; new services or programs will not be considered. Expansion of existing programs is allowable; however, the applicant must clearly demonstrate the availability of additional resources to support and sustain expansion beyond the requested funding from the foundation.
To be eligible, applicants must be a nonprofit organization, quasi-governmental entity, and/or nonprofit hospital. In addition, applicants must be located in Georgia and operate programs that target Georgia residents.
