NEH Announces $43.1 Million in New Humanities Grants

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) recently announced $43.1 million in awards to support 218 humanities projects across the country. The awards support a wide range of humanities research and project types including collaborative research, digital humanities, infrastructure and capacity building, institutes for college faculty and K-12 teachers, public engagement programs, and conservation of cultural heritage collections. Congratulations to the many GRC institutions that received grants this round! Future applicants may want to inform their own humanities projects by viewing the list of grants by state and reading the brief descriptions of what has been funded in their region and across the country.
