The Grants.gov deadline for it second FY 19 competition,\u00a0<strong>July 11, 2019<\/strong>, is also still on track. Art Works provides support artistically excellent projects that celebrate Americans&#8217; creativity and cultural heritage, invite mutual respect for differing beliefs and values, and enrich humanity. Projects can be in any of the wide range of arts\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arts.gov\/grants-organizations\/art-works\/grant-program-description#disciplines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">disciplines<\/a>\u00a0supported by NEA. Matching grants generally range from $10,000 to $100,000.<\/p>\n<p>In FY 19, NEA encourages applications to support projects that address the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Honor the 2020 centennial of women&#8217;s voting rights in the United States (aka the Women&#8217;s Suffrage Centennial);<\/li>\n<li>Engage with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Hispanic or Latino organizations; or the Native American, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian arts;<\/li>\n<li>Celebrate America&#8217;s creativity and cultural heritage;<\/li>\n<li>Invite a dialogue that fosters a mutual respect for the diverse beliefs and values of all persons and groups; or<\/li>\n<li>Enrich our humanity by broadening our understanding of ourselves as individuals and as asociety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bWith the partial shutdown over, (for now), the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)\u00a0wants potential applicants to know that the Grants.gov deadline for its flagship grants program,\u00a0Art Works, is still set for\u00a0February 14, 2019.
