\"\"The\u00a0American Psychological Foundation<\/a>\u00a0is inviting applications for its Marian R. Stuart Grant.<\/p>\n

Through the program, a single grant of up to $20,000 will be awarded in support of the practice\/education of or research by an early-career psychologist that explores the connection between mental and physical health, with a focus on work\/research that contributes to public health.<\/p>\n

Examples of initiatives eligible for support include but are not limited o: research-based programs that teach medical doctors counseling skills; research-based programs focused on the effect of behavior on health; and research-based programs that explore psychologists\u2019 role in medical settings for the benefit of patients.<\/p>\n

Priority will be given to psychologists working in medical schools.<\/p>\n

To be eligible, applicants must be an early-career researcher (defined as no more than ten years postdoctoral) and affiliated with a nonprofit charitable, educational, or scientific institution, or a governmental entity operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.<\/p>\n
