Two bipartisan bills seeking to increase federal focus on supporting women entering careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) were signed into law last week, marking President\u00a0Trump’s first\u00a0official work with science\u00a0legislation. Both\u00a0the “Promoting Women in Entrepreneurship Act” and the “Inspiring the Next Space Pioneers, Innovators, Researchers, and Explorers (INSPIRE)\u00a0Women Act” seek to codify that existing STEM outreach efforts should focus on encouraging women to enter technical fields.
