Walfish Grants program.<\/p>\n<p>The program is supported by the Division 42 Next Generation Fund, which promotes and supports the next generation of student and early-career practitioner-psychologists, with the goal of expanding the knowledge base in the practice of psychology. Through the program, up to two $2,000 grants will be awarded to graduate students (within two years or less of completing the doctoral degree) and\/or early-career psychologists (within ten years of earning the doctoral degree).<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are required to submit previously unpublished manuscripts on clinical, practical, or research innovations that address evolving standards, practices, and methods in psychological practice. Topics may include population\u2010based practice issues, procedure or technique\u2010based practice issues, diagnosis\u2010based practice issues, or service-delivery models describing a practice innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Grant recipients are encouraged to use the grant to attend the APA convention to present their work.
