Using her own body to illustrate such raw and confident topics through photography and drawing allowed her to move past her early feelings of timidness and the low self-esteem she grew up with. My pieces challenge the male gaze and are unapologetically sexually charged in a manner that isn\u2019t for a man to ogle over. I embrace explicit nudity and erotic themes but that does not make my pieces pornographic.\u00a0 My sexuality is still something so new to me that I am exploring deeper with each piece I create.\u00a0 Being both the photographer and subject has helped me to push myself to discover who I am visually and who I aspire to be.\u00a0 My art focuses on my relationship and intimacy with myself.\u00a0 I immortalize raw moments that express my passions, struggles, and desires because that is what is most important to me as a person.
