VSU Pre-Service teachers, Interpreters, and Future Educators from Valdosta High School worked together to bring the Lowndes/Valdosta students this experience!

Hello! Welcome to the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning, or STEMITL, homepage!

The STEMITL project's objective is to create an innovative collaboration between Valdosta State University's Middle Grade Education pre-service teachers, MGED faculty, VSU's STEAM Center, local high schools and middle schools, and their students. Students experience integrated lessons through the topic of pollution in Asia and what we can learn about our own environment. In addition to teaching and learning at the STEAM Center, the VSU and local middle school students are able to exchange knowledge of what they have learned as well as interesting insight about their culture with students from the SKH Bishop Baker Secondary School in Hong Kong, China. Check out the About Us section to learn more about STEMITL! Also, take a look at the posts below as well as those in the Student Life Blogs section to see the information shared by our students and faculty here in Georgia and those in Hong Kong!
