The festival this year was held from September 26 to October 1. Hahira is a small town community located just a few miles north of Valdosta. The festival was started in 1981 to liven up the city with arts, food, music, and a parade. The festival is planned every year by the work of the Honey Bee Festival Members known as the \u201cBusy Bees\u201d.
