  VALDOSTA, Ga. – The NCAA Division II Football Selection Show is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 17 and streamed live on NCAA.com.
• Willis and Baker Named Steel’s Jewelry Athletes of the Week
  VALDOSTA, Ga.- Valdosta State football graduate student Joko Willis and Blazer volleyball senior Kaia Baker were named this week's Steel's Jewelry Athletes of the Week. This marks both Willis' and Baker's first Steel's Jewelry Blazer Athlete of the Week award this season.
• Blazer Football Takes Over Top Spot in Third NCAA Super Region Two Ranking
  INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The third and final publicly released NCAA Super Region rankings were announced Monday and the No. 1-ranked Valdosta State football team moved from third to first this week following its 49-20 victory at Delta State on Saturday.
• Willis Named GSC Special Teams Player of the Week
  VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State graduate student linebacker Joko Willis was named Gulf South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.  This is the first weekly honor of the season for Willis and is the fifth different Blazer to earn GSC weekly honors this season.
• Top-Ranked Valdosta State Dominates Delta State for 49-20 Victory on the Road
  CLEVELAND, Miss. – The top-ranked Valdosta State football team scored on offense and special teams en route to a dominating 49-20 victory Saturday afternoon at Delta State.  The Blazers improved to 9-0 on the year and 5-0 in Gulf South Conference play, while Delta State fell to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in league play.
