• Second Class of Chi Alpha Sigma Inducted at Valdosta State University Athletic Awards Banquet
  VALDOSTA, Ga. – A total of 28 Valdosta State student-athletes were inducted into the Georgia Xi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma (XAΣ), the National Collegiate Student-Athlete Honor Society, at the 2026 VSU Athletic Awards Banquet Wednesday evening.
• Watts and Whalen Named Herb and Linda Reinhard Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year
  VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State football senior Eric Watts and women's basketball junior Erin Whalen were named the Herb and Linda Reinhard Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year, respectively, at the annual awards banquet Wednesday evening.
• Blazers Host Final Practice Thursday Evening at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium
  VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State football team will close out the 2026 spring season with a final practice at 6 p.m. at Bazmore-Hyder Stadium Thursday evening (April 9).  The practice is free and open to the public.
