- VALDOSTA, Ga. – A total of 28 Valdosta State student-athletes were inducted into the Georgia Xi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma (XAΣ), the National Collegiate Student-Athlete Honor Society, at the 2026 VSU Athletic Awards Banquet Wednesday evening.
- VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State senior men's basketball standout Drew Mills was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second Team All-South Region, the organization announced Monday.
- VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State women's basketball junior Erin Whalen earned Gulf South Conference All-Academic honors, the league office announced Friday. In addition, the 2026 GSC Winter Academic Honor Roll was announced with ten women's basketball players and six men's basketball players were named to the GSC Academic Honor Roll.
