- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Coming off Gulf South Conference titles in football and men's tennis, the Valdosta State athletic department learned Wednesday that it finished sixth in the 2024-2025 Gulf South Conference All-Sports Trophy standings, while the Blazers won the men's all-sports standings for the first time since 2019.
- VALDOSTA, Ga – Valdosta State University has been accepted into the National College Athlete Honor Society as the Georgia Xi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma (XAΣ), which recognizes student-athletes from accredited four-year NCAA, NAIA, USCAA or NCCAA institutions who excel in both the classroom and competition.
- VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State women's basketball senior Jacey Justice, along with sophomore Erin Whalen and men's basketball senior Cobey Harraway were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams, announced this week.
- KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Valdosta State senior guard Carlos Hart has been named to the NABC Division II All-District Second Team, announced Monday morning by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
- DAVIE, Fla. – The Valdosta State Blazers fell to the Lynn in the first round of NCAA South Regional by a final of 86-74. VSU concluded the season with a record of 25-7 which is the most wins in a season since the 2019-20 season.
