- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Coming off Gulf South Conference titles in football and men's tennis, the Valdosta State athletic department learned Wednesday that it finished sixth in the 2024-2025 Gulf South Conference All-Sports Trophy standings, while the Blazers won the men's all-sports standings for the first time since 2019.
- VALDOSTA, Ga – Valdosta State University has been accepted into the National College Athlete Honor Society as the Georgia Xi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma (XAΣ), which recognizes student-athletes from accredited four-year NCAA, NAIA, USCAA or NCCAA institutions who excel in both the classroom and competition.

- VALDOSTA, Ga.- Valdosta State cross country freshman Nick Waddell and Blazer volleyball senior Christina Pettigrew were named this week's Steel's Jewelry Athletes of the Week. This marks Waddell's first Blazer athlete of the week award this season while it marks back-to-back weeks that Pettigrew has achieved the honor.
