- VALDOSTA, Ga. – A total of five Valdosta State student-athletes earned 2025 Gulf South Conference Spring All-Academic, announced Thursday by the league office. Softball graduate Aniston Gano, along with men's tennis seniors Boruch Skierkier and Takeshi Taco, along with women's tennis sophomore Natalie Rainke and men's golf sophomore Alexander Nilehn were honored.
- VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's and women's tennis teams were well represented on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America Teams, announced Wednesday. The national champion Blazer men's team had five selections, while the women's team had one.
- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Coming off Gulf South Conference titles in football and men's tennis, the Valdosta State athletic department learned Wednesday that it finished sixth in the 2024-2025 Gulf South Conference All-Sports Trophy standings, while the Blazers won the men's all-sports standings for the first time since 2019.
- VALDOSTA, Ga – Valdosta State University has been accepted into the National College Athlete Honor Society as the Georgia Xi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma (XAΣ), which recognizes student-athletes from accredited four-year NCAA, NAIA, USCAA or NCCAA institutions who excel in both the classroom and competition.
- MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Valdosta State women's tennis season came to an end Thursday with a 4-0 loss to No. 18-ranked Mississippi College in the quarterfinal round of the 2025 Gulf South Conference Women's Tennis Championship.
