Requirements
To Become a Candidate:
- Be at least a sophomore, and have declared accounting or finance as a major (undergraduate students), or
- Enrolled in the MBA (with an accounting or finance undergraduate degree) or the MAcc (graduate students)
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (including transfer credits)
- Complete the chapter professional and community service hour requirements*
- Download and complete the membership application and membership commitment forms
To Become a Member:
- In addition to the candidate requirements, obtain a minimum major GPA of 3.0 or better. Candidates usually complete ACCT 3201 or FIN 3350 with a grade of B or better (for accounting and finance majors respectively), or
- Have completed one semester in the applicable graduate program and maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 or member
- Pay the $75.00 initiation fee
