    BlazerLink Breakdown

    September 10, 2018

You might be saying, “Whaaaaa? What’s BlazerLink?! Have I missed something…?”

The answer is yes. BlazerLink is a platform that allows you to browse and connect with VSU’s 200+ student orgs. To use BlazerLink, all you’ll need to do is log in using your Blazeview credentials, and start searching! Keep the following tips in mind while browsing BlazerLink – you’d be surprised at what all you can do!

    BlazerLink Tips & Tricks

» After logging in, create a profile and list your “interests” in your profile. By doing this, BlazerLink will learn what activities you’re interested in and suggest organizations that fit those interests.

» If you’re looking to advertise for an event or an org, you can create a digital event and post a flyer to the virtual bulletin board for all of VSU to see. [snazzy, huh?]

» Student orgs can communicate with one another through the built-in messaging platform or by leaving notes on the ‘walls’ of other organizations. This can be as simple as “Great event last week!” or “I’ve thought of ways for us to collaborate — let’s chat.”

» You can log and track community service hours as an organization or as an individual so that you have a record of the impact your organization is making on our community. All records will remain after you graduate, so if you ever want to pull those records to outline the amount of community service hours you logged while at VSU, then B O O M – there you go.

» Since you spend more time on your phone than on the computer, you’ll want to download the BlazerLink app, so you’ll always have instant access to everything going on at VSU. [Available in the Apple App Store and in Google Play.]

» Oh, and don’t forget to check out the calendar to see what events, movies, and programs are coming up.

If you didn’t know, now you do!

If you see an opportunity that looks worthwhile on BlazerLink, go for it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. 💥
