What did you pursue after your graduation from VSU?
After graduation, I spent January through July of 2019 traveling and experiencing my new freedom. I went to the Bahamas, California, New York, Germany, London, and Israel. In August, I moved to Orlando, Florida, to set up my business. I love the city and the area I’m in. I’ve been growing my social media accounts and still growing my online fitness business. I’ve been pretty stable.
The places that you traveled to after graduation, why did you choose those places and did your travels benefit you in any way personally or professionally?
I chose those places for business and just because I wanted to get out there and experience other cultures. Israel was offered to me for free to experience the fitness culture of the Middle East through a project called Fit Together. My dad lives in Germany and the rest were just for fun. Wherever I go I’m always filming content and working.
What drew you to move to Orlando to live and set up your business?
I would always come to Orlando to hang out with a good friend of mine during college breaks. I’m from Jacksonville, so it wasn’t a long drive. I liked the weather better, younger people here, and so much to do! Also, the flight tickets were always cheaper, so that’s also why I was here a lot.
For clarification, are you still doing the Bodyweight Bodybuilder programs? What about the programs on your Workout AD website?
Yes, I am still selling the Bodyweight Bodybuilder alongside other calisthenics programs I have created in the past year. Each helps with a different goal (lose fat, gain muscle, learn skills, etc.).
Where are your clients located for the most part?
Clients are all over the world, but most buyers tend to be from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
Do you have an estimated number of how many people you have impacted with your workout programs?
At this point thousands. I get messages and pictures every day.
What are your personal and professional goals for the future?
Personal goals of mine are to just better myself and always continue learning even though I’m out of school. I never want to get complacent in where I’m at. Professional goals include more business revenue, opening a small gym studio, and one million YouTube subscribers.
What advice would you give to college students who have a good idea for a product or business but are afraid to take the next step?
My advice would be to TAKE RISKS and learn as you go. So many people get paralyzed by just the idea and talk themselves out of it. It’s 2020; you can do and start anything you want to. All it takes is a Google search and some action. If not you, then who?
